The NHL announced today that the Canucks will feature a new lighting design, with a brand new color scheme for the back of their uniforms and a new zebra pattern.
The new look will be unveiled in their next home game, the upcoming contest against the Ottawa Senators on Saturday.
“We are excited to welcome the new zeros and stripes to the Canucks,” said NHL Deputy Commissioner Bill Daly.
“They are a unique and creative design that is going to help bring the Vancouver market more in-line with the rest of the NHL.”
The new zigzag design will feature the team’s new logo on the back, and a white stripe running down the middle of the back.
The stripes are going to be paired with a red and black design that features the team symbol.
“The new design will add a modern touch to the Vancouver uniforms, which are often referred to as ‘zombie’ uniforms,” said David J. Dolan, vice president of corporate communications for the Vancouver Grizzlies.
“The stripes also give the players a unique way to showcase their identities.
Our goal is to make this uniform look great and to encourage players to wear it as often as possible.”
The Canucks’ uniforms will also feature the new logo, and the new color palette.
The new jersey is going in the form of a new jersey that will be introduced this fall.
It features the brand new, orange-and-white jersey design from last season, as well as the brand-new, black jersey.
The Canucks have also added some new branding to the jerseys, including the team logo, on the front of the jersey.
“These are not your standard NHL jerseys, and that’s part of the excitement about this jersey,” said J.J. Johnston, executive director of hockey operations for the Canucks.
“I’m excited to see what the fans will think and what the players are going be able to do with it.”
For the upcoming game against the Senators, the Canucks have added a new color and stripe pattern to the back with the team emblem.
The color scheme will be a bright orange with a black stripe running through it.
Johnston said that it is “one of the more innovative stripes we’ve seen in the NHL” and the team is looking forward to seeing the reaction from the fans.
The team will also be wearing a new skates and shorts for the game.
The team said that the new skats will be the “new look” for the upcoming season, and Johnston said it was designed to make fans “feel comfortable” wearing the new look.
The Canucks are expected to be the only NHL team to wear their new uniforms for at least the first two games of the season.
The current Canucks uniforms are worn by the Anaheim Ducks and the Minnesota Wild, which is part of a three-team trade that will send goaltender Antti Raanta to the Minnesota franchise.
The Calgary Flames and Dallas Stars will also wear the new uniforms this season.
