With the release of its first-ever home theater, Vizio has been busy introducing new products to the market.
The company recently released its first home theater system, the Vizio XU, with a 1080p OLED display.
It also unveiled a new smart light bulb and a “smart” fridge, as well as the first “smart home” that can be controlled remotely from the outside using an app.
The home theater also features two HDMI inputs, one for TV and one for audio, and a DVR and remote control, as seen in the above video.
A new smart doorbell, called the “Vizio Smart Doorbell,” will let you control the light from your door, which is expected to debut in September.
The Vizio Home Theater also has a new “Home Theater Experience” app that allows users to stream content and watch movies and TV shows from anywhere, as long as they have an internet connection and have an antenna, as it’s still in beta.
The Home Theater Experience, as Vizio calls it, is also compatible with Apple TV, Roku, Chromecast, and Amazon Fire TV.
The system comes with a two-channel stereo sound system, a 2-megapixel rear camera, and an 8-megabyte SD card slot.
Vizio is also introducing a new remote, called Vizio Smart Hub, which lets you connect an external projector to the system, control it from your mobile device, and access content from your favorite apps and websites.
The new products also include an Amazon Alexa voice-controlled smart home hub, as a replacement for the company’s existing “Amazon Echo.”
The new devices are available starting today, and Vizio plans to sell them through a pair of retailers, including Walmart, as part of a deal that begins in late 2018.
