The light and energy from neon lights is powerful enough to illuminate most of the streetlights in the world.
And the neon lights have been around for decades, long enough to be a major part of the city’s culture.
But in recent years, the technology has become so popular, that the city of Los Angeles installed a neon light that uses solar panels and is now the second most-popular light in the country.
Los Angeles is now using a new system that uses more than 40 percent of the energy in a solar panel to power a neon sign.
“We’re going from having to use an entire building to produce electricity to not having to have an energy supply at all,” said David Wessel, the director of the Los Angeles Department of Transportation’s City Lighting Program.
The system is called the Sunway Solar Path Lights, and it’s powered by more than 100 solar panels.
The panels produce electricity in just a few minutes.
It’s the same technology that powers the lights in the City of Light in San Francisco, but in a more affordable way.
“The sunway system uses a battery, so it uses a lot of energy,” said Andy Siegel, director of engineering for the City Light.
“So, we’re trying to be as affordable as possible.”
A city with a citywide power grid.
City Light is not alone in using solar panels to power neon signs.
Los Angelenos installed a similar system that’s used in other cities including Seattle, San Jose, Las Vegas and Chicago.
The Sunway system also uses an array of solar panels that sit in parking lots, and the city also installed solar panels in the parking lots of schools and shopping malls.
The city is hoping the system will help generate a lot more electricity, and eventually reduce its reliance on fossil fuels.
The City of Los Angles was one of the first cities in the U.S. to install solar panels on public buildings.
“Solar energy has really made a big impact,” said Mayor Eric Garcetti.
“This project, the City Lights, is really a demonstration of how much solar energy can be put in our buildings.”
So far, the system has produced more than 500 megawatts of electricity, enough to power more than 200,000 homes.
A city that’s been using solar for decades.
It has been used to power the lights at the city council for decades in a number of different places, including in the lobby of City Hall.
And it has been an important part of city life for many years.
Los Anglos has had a solar-powered light system for decades: City Light’s neon light system was built for the city in the early 1970s.
The lights are located at City Hall, City Hall Plaza and City Hall West, the city headquarters.
“I think the lights were a very popular, beautiful thing to use,” said City Councilman Mark Green.
“People liked the look of the neon sign and the energy it produced.”
Now, the neon light is getting more attention.
A new system called the City Neon Light Project aims to replace the neon signs in Los Angeles.
The new neon light was created by a company called Tandem Solar.
The company is a subsidiary of SolarCity.
“These lights are a great example of the way that we are moving towards sustainable lighting,” said Eric M. Schmidt, CEO of Solar City.
“It’s not going to be the same neon light in five years time, but they will be a more efficient neon light.”
The new system is not the only one in the works.
Los angelos is also working with the city to install a new neon sign in the heart of Los Angelinos historic downtown.
The plan is to turn the existing neon sign on Main Street into a more green sign.
And a new sign that will be installed on the corner of Main and W. Main streets in downtown will use solar panels, too.
