Chicago, IL—The Cubs have announced that they will be launching a new home park logo next year.
The logo will be created by the Chicago Cubs, who have been in discussions with several teams to launch a new park logo.
The Cubs logo is one of the few in baseball that is based on a historical icon.
A new home-field advantage will be added to the Cubs new logo as well as the Chicago skyline, the name of the team, and the Chicago Sun-Times.
“Our new logo will incorporate elements of a city, city skyline, Chicago Sun, and other elements of the Chicago brand,” said Chicago Cubs owner Dan Garber.
“We are excited to be working with some of the top designers and sports branding companies in the world to create a unique, yet distinctive home-based branding.”
The new logo has been designed by Chris Sabin, who also designed the Cubs current logo.
Chicagoans will be able to see the new logo when the Cubs host the Detroit Tigers on September 15.
As part of the unveiling, the Cubs unveiled new color schemes for their uniforms, including a new blue and green color scheme.
The colors of the new home ballpark will be announced later.
