A light outage has disrupted much of western Colorado and parts of western Kansas, affecting several dozen residences.
The Colorado Department of Public Safety said Tuesday night that several hundred homes have been without electricity for more than a week and that the outage is affecting more than 100,000 customers.
It was reported around 6:30 p.m.
Tuesday in northwest Colorado, about 80 miles (130 kilometers) southeast of Greeley, the department said in a tweet.
Colorado has experienced an outage for 20 years and it is affecting tens of thousands of customers, department spokesman Joe Anderson said.
